Embroidery at Scale: What's Different
Embroidery at 100,000+ units is an industrial operation. It requires multi-head commercial machines running continuously, production-optimized digitizing, and quality control processes that catch deviation before it compounds across the run.
It's not a scaled-up version of what a local shop does. The equipment, the file preparation, and the production management are fundamentally different.
Embroidery is the premium decoration choice — it signals quality and permanence in a way screen printing can't. Corporate programs, executive gifting, premium uniforms, and retail private label rely on embroidery when they need decoration that communicates value. At volume, factory-direct pricing makes that quality accessible without the distributor premium.

When to Choose Embroidery Over Screen Print
Embroidery and screen printing are not interchangeable. Each has applications where it clearly outperforms the other, and many programs use both.
Embroidery is the right choice for garments that communicate authority or permanence: structured headwear, corporate polos and dress shirts, premium fleece, executive gifting, and retail programs that need decoration that reads as quality. The dimensional texture and durability of stitching conveys something a print can't replicate.
Screen printing wins on cost-per-unit for t-shirts, event merchandise, and anything where price sensitivity outweighs premium positioning. Most large corporate and franchise programs use both — embroidery for the polos and headwear, screen printing for the tees and bags.
